Good Luck to Jx Kawasaki in the British Superbikes. We are happy to give the team our backing this year. We will post their Progress so you can follow them too!

Hello John

Just a quick resume on Cadwell Park. Well for the first time in BSB history this season, we did not get wet. That's not to say it did not rain - just not on our race!

Martin on the ZX10 had mixed fortunes. A puncture in free practise and a valve failure in first qualifying. So he went to the grid in position 28. Unfortunate, seeing as when we had tested there, the bike was going brilliantly, and Martin was clocking up 1.30.8 lap times. Come the race, Martin was pushed on to the grass, mucking up the next two corners and losing places. He did well to finish 26th. The previous weekend, we had taken Martin to the Superbike Grand National at Castle Coombe, where against full superbikes, Martin finished 6th in race one and 7th in race two.

On the ZX6, Philip battled with his head to do a 1.35, but finally cracked it. He qualified 26th, just one second behind behind P2. The guy on pole put in a blistering lap which put him a whole second clear of the rest - unheard of in this class - usually a second covers the first fifteen riders! Back in the race, Philip had a great start, taking five or six places before the first hill. He continued to take one a lap til the safety car came out. With two laps wasted and two to go, Philip nudged briefly into P15 - hoorah, a point. Shortlived jubilation as a very brave rider (David Haire) out braked him up the inside into Barn on the last lap. So finishing 16th, was Philip's best result to date.

So enjoy this fab picture of Martin at Castle Coombe and we'll keep you posted about the next round - Croft.
